Dr. Saeed Vayghan is an Assistant Professor of Hotel and Resort Management and the Coordinator of the Hotel and Resort Management Program at Utah Tech University. He teaches courses including Introduction to Hospitality, Hospitality Customer Experience, Front Office Operations, Revenue Management, and Management and Organizations.
Dr. Vayghan earned his Ph.D. in Hospitality Administration from the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and holds a Master’s degree in Tourism Management from Allameh Tabataba’i University in Iran. His research focuses on hospitality technology, AI in service experiences, and customer experience design. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology and received the Best Research Paper Award at the 29th Annual International Hospitality IT Association Research Conference (Orlando, 2022).
Coming from Iran—a country deeply rooted in traditions of hospitality—Dr. Vayghan’s passion for this field stems from his cultural background. Through teaching and research, he aims to explore the foundations of hospitality experiences and share his insights with students, researchers, and industry partners.
